Summer Season Opener at Monticello High School – Music in Motion

7:30 pm
Monticello High School

The Charlottesville Band opens its 102nd Summer Season with our first performance at Monticello High School, playing a program called “Music in Motion.”  From Gallops to Waltzes and everything in between, the Band will explore music created around motion.

Our own Burton Hable and Christine Steele will each guest-conduct a piece with the Band.

Join us on a Tuesday evening for our free performance,  with plenty of free parking right in front of the venue!

Our Community Partners

We are proud of our collaborations with music, arts, education and community organizations across Central Virginia. Some of these relationships go back decades, but we are always looking for new opportunities to share the gift of music in Charlottesville and beyond. Here are just a few of our community partners.
