The Charlottesville Band turns 100 years old and our Centennial Celebration concert will be at Ting Pavilion on Tuesday, August 16 at 7:30pm.  We’ll be playing fun music for the entire family, including some pieces written just for our Centennial.  Joining us is special guest artist for this concert is Ray Caddell, of Big Ray and the Kool Kats. 

We will also feature the U.S. Army Brass Quintet, who will perform ahead of and during the concert with the Band, along with vocalist Bob McDonald.  And also joining us will be Paul Murtha, who will conduct “Cville Centennial,” which he composed for our centennial year.

The Band will also be receiving centennial proclamations from the Virginia Senate and House of Delegates.  Bring your family and friends and help us celebrate 100 years of continuously free music in our community.  And as always, admission is free!
