The Cville Band is excited to return to the PVCC Dickinson Auditorium to open our Centennial Season of nine live performances.  This program will feature the world premiere of three selections written especially for our Centennial, and trumpet soloist Samuel Hall, winner of our 2022 James W. Simmons Solo Contest and Dr. Genevieve Murphy Scholarship.

Continuing our monthly series at The Center, the Rivanna Winds Dixieland Band will be providing new tunes and old favorites. These performances at The Center at Belvedere are open to the entire community.

Following a showing of the movie Chicago, our Clarinet Ensemble will be providing a jazz-themed performance. The Clarinet Ensemble is comprised of players of all types of clarinets.  Their repertoire ranges over many time periods and styles, from Baroque and Classical era transcriptions to modern clarinet ensemble literature, folk, jazz, and popular music of all kinds.

The Charlottesville Band returns to one of Charlottesville’s newest venues, The Center at Belvedere.  The Band will present an outdoor program of favorites from a variety of American genres.  Bring the family, some lawn chairs or a blanket and enjoy an evening of music in this beautiful venue!  DuCard Vineyards will be there with our Spirit of '22 white wine blend.
